Jane Breswick owns and runs The Safe Place inn and tavern. She is a short, well-muscled human woman in her 30’s with more than a few scars and wrinkles on her face. Her hair is mostly grey, despite her relative youth, and she favors scuffed black boots, a dark grey blouse and tight leather leggings. She wears a well-worn longsword at her belt, a souvenir from her days as a soldier.
Jane has a no-nonsense manner, and is more than willing to give (rather loud) advice to anyone who asks her for it, though she also ends all of her anecdotes with her signature phrase of “That’s my thought on the matter in any case. Make of it what will.” Jane is not afraid to have a good time, but she is keenly aware of her own limits when it comes to alcohol.
